Official Rules

Contest format

• Each regular-season week, pick the straight-up winner of every scheduled NFL game.
• You must pick every listed game and enter the Monday Night combined-points tiebreaker before you can submit. Incomplete entries cannot be submitted.
• Once you submit, your entire weekly entry is permanently locked and cannot be changed.
• PLP IQ's own prediction for a game may keep updating until that game's scheduled kickoff. Its official contest pick is the final pick captured at kickoff, and that captured pick never changes afterward.
• PLP IQ's pick for a game is hidden from entrants and the public until that game kicks off, then shown as a locked pick.
• After every game is final, your weekly win-loss record is compared with PLP IQ's. You must have strictly more wins than PLP IQ — an equal record is a tie, not a win.
• Among those who beat PLP IQ, the best record wins. Ties are broken by the closest guess to the Monday Night game's combined final points.
• If players remain exactly tied, they are flagged as tied finalists and the winner is chosen by an administrator-run random drawing that is recorded with a timestamp.
• One weekly winner maximum.
• One account and one entry per person per week.

Prizes

The prize for each Contest period is the prize displayed on that week's entry page before entry. Those posted terms are incorporated into these Official Rules. A prize Contest will not open until a specific prize is posted.

Eligibility

The Beat PLP IQ NFL Pick'em (the “Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and agents of PLP IQ, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase, payment, subscription, wager, or deposit is necessary to enter or win, and none will improve the chance of winning.

Geographic eligibility

Open to eligible legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. It is each entrant's responsibility to confirm that participation is lawful where the entrant resides. The Contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

Minimum age

Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry. By entering, each entrant represents that the entrant satisfies the age and residency requirements in these Official Rules.

Entry period

All Contest dates and times are stated in Eastern Time (ET) and are displayed in Eastern Time on the entry page. Each weekly Contest period opens when PLP IQ marks that week's entry page open and closes at the scheduled kickoff of the first listed game of that week, which is the entry deadline shown on the entry page. An entrant's own entry period also ends earlier, at the moment that entrant submits an entry. A valid entry must contain a straight-up pick for every listed game and the required Monday Night Football combined-points tiebreaker prediction; an incomplete entry cannot be submitted. Submission is final: once an entry is successfully submitted, the entrant's entire weekly entry — every pick and the tiebreaker — is permanently locked immediately and cannot be added to, changed, withdrawn, or deleted for any reason. This supersedes any earlier statement that an entrant's individual picks remain editable until each game's kickoff. PLP IQ's own predictions are independent and may continue to update until each game's scheduled kickoff; PLP IQ's official Contest selection for a game is its final selection at that game's scheduled kickoff, which is captured and frozen at that moment. PLP IQ's selection for a game is not shown to entrants or the public before that game's scheduled kickoff, and is revealed afterward as a locked selection. PLP IQ's systems are the official timekeeping device. Entry requires only a unique username and a password; no email address or other contact information is required to enter. Usernames are unique without regard to capitalization, and each entrant's picks, results, and Contest history are tied to that account. Because no contact information is collected at entry, there is no password reset or account recovery, and each entrant is responsible for keeping the username and password. One account and one weekly entry per person; creating or using multiple accounts is prohibited.

Prize description & value

There are two separate prizes. WEEKLY PRIZE: a $50 Amazon gift card or a $50 Cash App payment, at the winner's choice where available (approximate retail value: $50.00 USD), awarded once per Contest week. The weekly prize is decided only by that week's straight-up picks, and an entrant must finish that week with strictly more correct straight-up picks than PLP IQ to qualify, subject to the weekly winner and tiebreak procedures in these Official Rules. END-OF-SEASON PRIZE: $500 (approximate retail value: $500.00 USD), awarded at most once per season under the separate season-long competition described in the “Season championship” section, whose eligible period begins with Week 3 of the 2026 NFL regular season (Weeks 1 and 2 do not count); it is decided by total correct straight-up picks accumulated across the eligible Contest season, not by any single week or by best weekly winning percentage, and it is not awarded if no qualifying entrant finishes ahead of PLP IQ. Winning a weekly prize does not win the season prize, and winning the season prize does not depend on having won any week. The prize for each Contest period is also displayed on that week’s entry page before entry, and those posted terms are incorporated into these Official Rules for that Contest period. Prizes are funded entirely by PLP IQ. Prizes are not funded by entrant money: entrants pay nothing, no entry fee or wager exists, and no entrant contribution of any kind is collected. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for other consideration, except that PLP IQ may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the posted prize becomes unavailable or if substitution is otherwise reasonably necessary. Each winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and for any cost not expressly included in the posted prize. After a potential winner is verified under these Official Rules, PLP IQ will deliver the prize within thirty (30) days of verification, using the contact information the winner provides in the prize-claim form. A Contest period will not open as a prize contest unless a specific prize has been posted.

Winner selection & tiebreak

Entrants pick the straight-up winner of every listed regular-season NFL game; point spreads do not apply. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and each entrant's performance under these scoring and tiebreak rules. After the listed games are resolved, each correct selection counts as one win. PLP IQ's official Contest selection for each game is its final selection captured at that game's scheduled kickoff, and that captured selection is immutable — later model recalculation does not change it — and is graded the same way. This weekly procedure decides the weekly prize only; the end-of-season prize is decided separately under the “Season championship” section. An entrant qualifies for the weekly prize only by recording strictly more wins than PLP IQ that week; matching PLP IQ is a tie and does not qualify. Among qualifying entrants, the entrant or entrants with the most correct picks advance. If more than one advancing entrant has the same best record, the entrant whose submitted Monday Night Football combined-points prediction is closest to that game's actual combined final score advances. If two or more entrants remain exactly tied on both record and absolute tiebreaker difference, they are marked as tied finalists and an administrator conducts a random drawing only among those tied finalists. The drawing selection, pool, and timestamp are recorded before finalization. There is no automatic or silent drawing, and there is no more than one weekly winner.

Notification & claim deadline

Because no contact information is collected at entry, results and winners are announced publicly by username on the Contest Results Board on this website after each Contest period is finalized, in a notice such as “Week 3 Results Are Final — Winner: Vegas71446. Log in to claim your prize.” Each entrant is responsible for checking the Contest Results Board weekly to learn whether that entrant's username has been announced as a winner; PLP IQ has no other way to reach an entrant who has not provided contact information. A winner claims a prize by signing in to the winning account and completing the private prize-claim form, which is the only place contact information is requested and is visible only to the winning account. The claim period is seven (7) calendar days after the winner announcement is posted unless a different claim deadline is posted with that announcement, and the applicable deadline is shown on the Contest Results Board and on the claim screen. The potential winner must complete the claim and provide any reasonably requested eligibility, identity, tax, or prize-delivery information by that deadline. Contest notices may also be answered at PLPiq.NFL@gmail.com. If the potential winner does not claim by the deadline, is ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to satisfy these Official Rules, that person is disqualified for that Contest period and PLP IQ will select the next eligible entry for that same Contest period by applying the published scoring and tiebreak rules to the remaining eligible entries — the next-best qualifying record, then the closest Monday Night combined-points tiebreaker, then a recorded administrator random drawing among entries that remain exactly tied. The same announcement and claim process then applies to that entrant. A prize is never awarded automatically to anyone else without that process. If no eligible entrant remains, no prize is awarded for that Contest period; unclaimed prizes do not roll over to another period. After a claim is verified, PLP IQ will deliver the prize within thirty (30) days of verification using the contact information the winner provided in the claim.

Privacy

PLP IQ collects account information, which is a unique username and a securely stored password — no email address or other contact information is collected to enter — and Contest information, including selections, timestamps, tiebreaker predictions, results, and audit records, to administer the Contest, prevent abuse, verify eligibility, announce winners, deliver prizes, maintain records, and comply with law. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by the authentication system and are never visible to PLP IQ. Contact information — name, email address, and optional phone number — is collected only from a winner, only when that winner submits a prize claim, and only to verify and deliver that prize; it is never required to enter and is never displayed publicly. PLP IQ does not send marketing email to entrants. Public pages and Contest Results Board announcements may display an entrant's username together with Contest statistics and winner status. Information may be disclosed to service providers assisting with Contest administration or when required by law. Entry and scoring records may be retained as reasonably necessary for verification, security, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Privacy questions may be sent to PLPiq.NFL@gmail.com. Free entry — no purchase necessary

FREE ENTRY — NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No payment, subscription, wager, deposit, purchase, like, follow, or comment is required to enter or to win, and none will improve an entrant's chance of winning. The Contest is entirely free. PLP IQ does not operate a sportsbook, does not accept bets or wagers, and collects no money from entrants for any purpose connected with the Contest.

Odds of winning

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and each entrant's performance under the published scoring and tiebreak rules. The only random element in the Contest is the recorded administrator drawing used when entrants remain exactly tied after every published tiebreak step.

Contest schedule and timezone

All Contest dates and times are stated and displayed in Eastern Time (ET). A weekly Contest period starts when PLP IQ opens that week's entry page and ends at the scheduled kickoff of the first listed game of that week, which is the entry deadline shown on the entry page. Individual entries also close the instant they are submitted. Scoring is completed after the listed games for that week are resolved under the "Postponed, rescheduled, cancelled, and tied games" section, and the winner is announced after the week is scored and finalized.

Postponed, rescheduled, cancelled, and tied games

A listed game is scored only if the official NFL result is final. If a listed game is postponed, rescheduled, suspended, or cancelled and does not have a final official NFL result within 48 hours after its originally scheduled kickoff, that game is excluded from scoring for every entrant and for PLP IQ alike; it is removed from every record, including PLP IQ's, and cannot help or hurt any entrant. If a game does reach a final official NFL result within that window, the official result counts for everyone. A game that ends in a real NFL tie counts as an incorrect pick for every entrant and for PLP IQ alike, because no team won it straight up. If the Monday Night tiebreaker game is excluded under this section, the combined-points tiebreaker is not used for that week and every qualifying entrant tied at the best record is treated as a tied finalist for the recorded administrator random drawing. These outcomes are determined automatically by the Contest system from the official NFL result source; PLP IQ does not fabricate, substitute, or estimate a game result.

Season championship

The end-of-season prize is $500 (approximate retail value: $500.00 USD), funded entirely by PLP IQ and not by entrant money, and it is a separate season-long straight-up competition from the weekly prize. ELIGIBLE CONTEST SEASON: the season-long Contest period STARTS WITH WEEK 3 of the 2026 NFL regular season. NFL Weeks 1 and 2 of the 2026 regular season do not count toward the $500 season standings in any way: picks, correct picks, weeks played, and weeks beating PLP IQ from those weeks are excluded from every season total and from the participation calculation. The eligible Contest weeks are the weekly Contest periods PLP IQ actually opens for entry on the entry page from Week 3 of the 2026 regular season forward, ending with the last weekly period opened before the end of that regular season. No week that was never opened for entry counts, and the current count of eligible weeks, together with the first and most recent eligible week, is displayed on the public season standings page. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENT: an entrant must have submitted a valid, scored entry in at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the eligible Contest weeks (Week 3 forward), rounded up to the next whole week, to qualify for the season prize. A week in which the entrant did not submit a valid entry earns zero correct picks toward the season total and is never excused or averaged; playing a single week, beating PLP IQ that week, and then not participating does not qualify an entrant for the $500 season prize, no matter how high that entrant's weekly winning percentage is. HOW THE CHAMPION IS DETERMINED: among entrants who meet the participation requirement, the champion is the entrant with the highest season total of correct straight-up picks accumulated across the eligible Contest weeks from Week 3 forward; best single-week record and weekly winning percentage are not used. That entrant must also finish with strictly more total correct straight-up picks than PLP IQ recorded over the same eligible Contest weeks, using PLP IQ's kickoff-captured selections as graded each week. If no qualifying entrant finishes with more total correct straight-up picks than PLP IQ, no end-of-season prize is awarded for that season. SEASON TIEBREAK: if two or more qualifying entrants who have beaten PLP IQ are tied on season total correct picks, the tie is broken, in order, by (1) the greater number of eligible weeks in which the entrant finished with strictly more correct picks than PLP IQ, then (2) the greater number of eligible Contest weeks entered, then (3) a recorded administrator random drawing among only the entrants still exactly tied, using the same recorded procedure, pool, and timestamp as the weekly final-tie drawing. This season tiebreak does not change weekly scoring or the weekly Monday Night combined-points tiebreaker in any way. Weekly prizes and the end-of-season prize are separate, and weekly winnings neither help nor hurt season eligibility. The season champion is determined after the final NFL regular-season games used by the app are final and the season standings have been verified, and the result is announced by username on the Contest Results Board. The potential season champion has seven (7) calendar days after the announcement is posted to sign in and complete the prize claim, the same claim deadline used for weekly prizes unless a different deadline is posted with the announcement, and the prize is fulfilled within thirty (30) days after verification; if the potential champion does not claim by the deadline, is ineligible, or declines, the next eligible entrant is selected by applying the same qualification, ranking, and tiebreak steps and, if needed, a recorded drawing.

Sponsor and operator

The Contest sponsor and operator is PLP IQ, which administers the Contest through this website. Questions, notices, and requests concerning the Contest may be sent to PLPiq.NFL@gmail.com. Winners are announced by username on the Contest Results Board on this website, and an entrant may reach the Contest administrator at the address above. No street address is designated in these Official Rules.

Not a sportsbook

PLP IQ is not a sportsbook and does not accept bets or wagers. Predictions, ratings, and analysis are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only, and contest entry is free.

Conduct and disqualification

PLP IQ may disqualify an entrant or entry for violating these Official Rules; using multiple accounts; submitting false or misleading information; tampering with entry, scoring, security, or operation; using automated entry methods; abusing or threatening participants or staff; or acting in a way that undermines the fairness or integrity of the Contest. Incomplete, corrupted, late, misdirected, or otherwise noncompliant entries may be rejected. Decisions concerning eligibility, scoring, administration, and enforcement are final to the extent permitted by law.

Technical errors and administration

PLP IQ is not responsible for unavailable networks or services, device or browser failures, interrupted transmissions, inaccurate clock settings, lost connections, or other technical problems beyond its reasonable control. Database timestamps and the official NFL result source used by the existing Contest scoring system control. If an error, outage, unauthorized intervention, or other event materially affects fair administration, PLP IQ may pause, correct, suspend, modify, or cancel the affected Contest period and, if appropriate, determine a winner from eligible unaffected entries using the procedures in these Official Rules. PLP IQ will not fabricate or substitute game results.

Release and limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless PLP IQ and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or delivery of a prize, except where such a release is prohibited. PLP IQ makes no warranty concerning a prize except any warranty expressly provided by its issuer. Nothing in these Official Rules limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived. In no event will PLP IQ be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the Contest, to the extent such limitation is permitted by law.

NFL and YouTube non-affiliation

PLP IQ and the Beat PLP IQ Pick'em are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or administered by the National Football League, any NFL member club, or YouTube. NFL, team, and league names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners. This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube. By entering, each entrant releases YouTube and the NFL-related entities from claims arising from the Contest to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Official Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except as otherwise required by applicable federal law. Nothing in these Official Rules waives, limits, or displaces any consumer-protection right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under the law of the jurisdiction in which an entrant resides, and those non-waivable rights continue to apply. This clause does not designate an exclusive venue, does not require arbitration, and does not waive any right to participate in a class action. PLP IQ makes no representation that the Contest complies with the law of every jurisdiction; the Contest is void where prohibited or restricted.
